ABOUT US
IPA is run under the direction of Ashleigh Bezzina. Dancing since the age of 3, Ashleigh has always had a strong passion for teaching and dreamed of opening up her own studio where children are able to receive quality training in a safe, nurturing environment.
At Ignition Performance Academy, we offer classes for those who want to have fun and exercise and also for those who are interested in a career in dance. Nevertheless, every student is treated with the same respect and attention from the staff at IPA.

Our aim at IPA is to be more than just a dance school; we are a community and a second family.

As a provider of dance education for children, we are extremely committed to ensuring that all children at Ignition Performance Academy are safe and protected from any harm. As such, we have many policies that are enforced and reviewed at IPA, which focus on child safety.

We are highly committed to providing the highest quality of training for your child, while igniting their passion for dance. We ensure our teachers are trained extensively in their own field and are continuing to update their training methods.
We pride ourselves on making every student at IPA feel safe and comfortable. Through our inclusive and nurturing environment, every child will get individual attention and feel special and important. We aim for IPA to feel like ‘one big happy dance family’.
At Ignition PA, we aim to create an environment that fosters growth in each student; not only as a dancer, but as a person. Through our nurturing teaching methods and ‘family’ environment, we aim to instil confidence and creativity in each and every student.
OUR FACULTY
Ashleigh has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Being trained under the direction of Bernadette Langshaw-Clark, Ashleigh attained her RAD Advanced 1 Ballet, ISTD Advanced 2 Modern and ISTD Advanced 2 Tap. She also completed her ISTD Modern Associate in 2016 and ISTD Tap Associate in 2017, while teaching at various schools. Ashleigh has also trained in other styles, including contemporary, jazz, musical theatre and hip hop. She has also performed at Disneyland and Universal Studios in 2008, as well as Disney World, New York Mets home game, Carnival Spirit and Universal Studios in 2013. Ashleigh also completed her first aid training in 2018. In 2019, Ashleigh obtained her ISTD Modern Associate Diploma. In 2021, Ashleigh also obtained her ISTD Tap Associate Diploma.
